Circles and Squares Walkthrough

Circles and Squares is a cute physics game that is fun for players of all ages. This puzzle game features colorful graphics, simple controls, and fifty challenging levels!

The objective of Circles and Squares is to move all of the blue shapes into the blue areas and remove all of the red shapes from the stage. Once these goals have been accomplished, you will advance to the next stage. If any of the blue shapes fall off of the stage, you will fail the level and have to retry it from its beginning. You have an unlimited number of retries in this puzzle game, and your progress is automatically saved, so you can resume play from any unlocked level during your next session.

The mouse is the primary control device of Circles and Squares. Click and drag on the stage to rotate it, causing the shapes to move with the force of gravity. Click on shapes to make them grow. To shrink shapes, hold the shift key and click on them. There is a limit to how large or how small you can make shapes in this puzzle game. The green bar at the bottom of the screen can be used as an indicator to determine how much you can grow shapes, but it is ever better to let the shapes themselves tell you. If a shape shakes its face in a negative manner and a sound similar to "uh-uh" is played, then you will not be able to change the shape's size any further.

Precision control is your best friend in Circles and Squares. Instead of making rapid movements to rotate the stage, it is often best to make small, controlled rotations to avoid flinging blue shapes off of the screen. If you do need to make wild movements to propel red shapes off of the stage, it is best to move blue shapes into crevices and grow them so that they can't get out. Using this method, you can remove all of the red shapes without having to worry about losing blues.
