Cube Crash Walkthrough

Cube Crash is one of the most addictive block breaking style puzzle games online, challenging you to remove the required number of cubes to pass each level. As the game progresses more colors are introduced and you are required to remove more cubes to progress to the next level making the game much more difficult. Those used to this type of puzzle game will likely have little trouble getting used to the controls of the game. It's pretty basic. Click on groups of three or more same colored cubes that are touching on at least one edge. The bigger the group, the more points you get. The number of cubes you need to remove to pass the level is shown on the right side of the game screen. You'll also see your score and the level you're on shown in the same area. You are given the chance to remove more cubes to collect more points even after you have collected the required number of cubes. The level only ends when there are no moves left to make. If you have collected the number of cubes you need to advance, you'll move on the the next level. If you haven't, you will get a message stating you left too many cubes on the screen and that your game is over.

The real challenge of Cube Crash is to collect the most points you can collect to get a high score. Challenge yourself to beat your own high score or try to get on the leader board for high scores. It isn't nearly as easy to do as it sounds, but there are a few trips to keep in mind. Unlike other block breaking puzzle games online, there is no time limit. No new rows are being added as you play. The only way your game will end is if you run out of moves entirely. Take advantage of this feature of the game and plan your moves carefully. Try to determine what the game screen will look like when you make a particular move. Will it open up more moves for you or limit the amount of moves you have to make. Make moves that will create a larger group or larger groups. If you see a single cube of one color by itself, try to figure out how you can make moves to make it part of a group. If you focus on grouping single cubes you have a much better chance of clearing the screen completely or at least removing far more cubes that you would have by focusing only on groups. Start removing cubes from the top of the screen as well instead of the middle or bottom. Look at how removing a large group will affect groups above it. For example, if there are three cubes of the same color in a straight row from left to right, make sure removing a large group won't scatter that group. If it will, remove the group of three first.

Overall, Cube Crash is a lot of fun and is one of the most addictive block breaking puzzle games online. Anyone familiar with point and click puzzle games will have no problem getting used to the controls, and even newcomers to the genre will be able to pick up how the game is played fairly quickly. This game can be fairly frustrating, but that's what makes it so addictive. It's never so frustrating you want to give up, instead being just frustrating enough to keep you playing. This is definitely a game every puzzle game fan needs to play at least once; just don't be surprised if once turns into far more than that.
