Gyser Borgen Walkthrough

Gyser Borgen is a puzzle game where you control a young elephant on his quest to rescue his girlfriend from a creepy castle! This adventure game features point-and-click controls, well-drawn graphics, and a brief duration of gameplay. The story of this puzzle game is presented in a European language (Dutch, I believe, but I could be mistaken), but English-speakers can still enjoy the gameplay given that only the initial cutscene has text.

If you are familiar with point-and-click adventure games, then Gyser Borgen should present a shallow learning curve. Simply point and click with your mouse to interact with objects. Objects stored in your inventory will be placed at the bottom of the screen. Click and drag inventory items onto objects on the stage to use them. If you cannot use an inventory item with another object, it will simply be placed back into your inventory. Your progress is not saved, but this puzzle game can be completed in less than ten minutes.

Gyser Borgen is a quick and simple adventure game, but we will provide a short walkthrough to get you started. After a brief cutscene, you will find yourself in front of a key with a red lock. Click the skull on the ground to uncover the red key. Use the red key on the lock to open the door. You have now entered a new room. Collect the scroll and the blue key from the shelf to the right. Click on the scroll to view it. Note the books that are shaded in blue. Click on the appropriate books on the bookcase in front of you to open a secret passage. Pick up the trash that is on the floor (in the right corner of the room), then advance through the passageway.

You will notice a robot's body sitting on top of the blue key chest. There is nothing that you can do about this now, so just pull the lever on the left wall to fall through a trap door. Pick up the blue potion, green key, and trash from this room, then advance up the staircase. After climbing the staircase, you will be in a room with spare robot parts. Collect the green key, the trash, and the robot's head. Exit through the door by using your green key. Go back into the bookcase entrance. Use the robot's head on the body to gain access to the blue key chest. From here, you are on your own. Good luck, and remember to keep picking up trash as it will be useful later on!

Gyser Borgen may not be in English, but its gameplay is not lost in translation. Fans of puzzle games and point-and-click adventure games will enjoy Gyser Borgen, regardless of the language barrier!
