isoball 2 Walkthrough

Isoball 2 is an excellent, addictive online puzzle game that challenges you to complete all of the puzzles in fifty mind-bending levels. In the beginning, the puzzles are fairly simple and solutions are clear, but as you progress the puzzles get harder and harder to solve. You much use ramps, blocks of different sizes, arrow tiles and even conveyors and bridges. In the beginning, simple logic is enough to meet the challenge put before you, but in later levels, you will need to utilize all the tools you are given and use some real creative problem solving skills to find the best way to advance to the next level. This game requires you to carefully plan your moves, use the tools you are given to the best of your ability and approach each problem differently. The solution you find in one level will not necessarily work for a similar problem in another level. This game is all about your tools and how you use them - putting your brain to work and having fun at the same time.

The goal of Isoball 2 is fairly basic - guide your ball from the drop point to the hole. You are given a variety of tools to make that happen which are shown at the bottom of your screen. Click on the tool and place it on the game grid where you would like to use it. Clicking on the tool multiple times will rotate it. Once it is placed on the board, you will not be able to rotate it, so make sure you rotate your tool before you try to use it. You also have the erase function, shown at the bottom left of the game screen, if you place an object incorrectly and want to remove it. At the top right of your screen, you have the option to clear all of the objects you've placed and start from scratch. This erase or clear option is a feature that sets this game apart from many other point and click, strategy puzzle games online as most other games require you to reset the level completely in order to undo a wrong move. Clear all of your moves or erase as many objects as you want. There is no limit on how many times you can attempt a level. Once you have all of your tools in place and you feel you've found the right solution, press start and see how it goes. If something goes wrong, use the erase feature to remove the trouble spot and figure out what you need to do to corrrect it. Remember, the balls in this game are fragile. They need to roll through the course create. If they drop from any height at all, they will break. For that reason, don't leave gaps between one platform and another. Use a ramp that perfectly meets the top of one platform to guide your ball to the next platform or to the ground. If there is a gap, your ball will break when it hits the lower platform.

Bridges in Isoball 2 can cause people problems initially, but once you've used them once or twice, you should be able to get the hang of using them. In later levels, you are presented with phasing bridges. Timing is important when you use these bridges so plan your moves around them carefully. With a little trial and error, you should have only limited difficulty with figuring out the best way to use them. Pay attention to the in game tutorials and make sure you understand the instructions you are given. Replay the tutorial video as many times as you need to so you're sure you fully understand the new tool you are given. There is no tutorial when new block or ramp size is intoduced, but you really won't need it. The only difference in using these new ramps or blocks is the size. You use them the same way as you would use the ramps and blocks you start the game with.

Overall, Isoball 2 is one of the best point and click puzzle games online. This engrossing and addictive game offers more than enough challenge to keep puzzle game fans satisfied while offering controls that are easy to use to newcomers to the genre won't feel overwhelmed. Every single puzzle in this game is solvable with a little bit of patience and logical thinking. As the game gets harder, the true puzzle game fan will strive to find the solution simply so they can see what the next level holds. Getting through all fifty levels will be quite difficult to say the least, but it is entirely possible. It might take a lot of time spent playing, but when a game is this much fun, it's hard to see that as a bad thing. This is a must-play game for any fan of puzzle games or anyone looking for a good, solid challenge.
