Og On The Job Walkthrough

Mike, Lu, and Og was a short-run cartoon that aired on Cartoon Network in the late 1990s and early 2000s. If you recall, mike was an exchange student on an uncharted tropical island and Og was an inventor that could make toys and other gadgets out of items found on the island.

Og On The Job is a Shockwave game where you portray Og. Your objective is to piece together various toys to prevent Mike from becoming bored. The item that you have to construct is displayed in the lower-right corner of the screen. Collect the different components from the shelves, then place them in the lower-right corner of the screen. When all items have been collected, the item will be put together, and you will be given a new item to construct. You win this puzzle game be putting together all eight items before Mike's boredom meter fills completely.

Og On The Job is controlled by using the arrow keys. When you are on the ground, move Og left and right by using the left and right arrow keys. Og will automatically move the ladder if he is close to it and not carrying an item. The up and down arrow keys are used to climb the ladder and retrieve items. You can only carry one item at a time in this puzzle game.

You can only be defeated by time in Og On The Job. You do have to watch out for the turtle at the top of the screen, however. Try to avoid the coconuts that he drops. These cannot kill you, but they will stun yo temporarily, costing you precious seconds. In some cases, it may also be difficult to tell which items are necessary to complete the toy that you are making. If you cannot match the silhouette to any of the objects on the shelves, quickly move up the ladder, then move the ladder to the next column of shelves and repeat the process until you are holding an item. Og will automatically grab the correct item if it is within his reach.

Mike, Lu, and Og may not have been the most spectacular Cartoon Cartoon, but the game that it spawned, Og On The Job, is a great way to pass spare time. This puzzle game may not be the most challenging for older gamers, but its cartoonish, non-violent nature makes it perfect for younger players!
