Poxxle Walkthrough

Poxxle is an addictive and engrossing point and click puzzle game that offers you greater control over what is happening in the game than many of the other puzzle games online that follow the same basic premise. For that reason, it avoids feeling boring or stale which is something many other games in this genre can't claim. The premise of the game is simple and is one that is quite common in online puzzle games. You have a shooter you need to use to make combinations of three or more of the same color objects to remove those objects from the screen. Even though the objects in this particular game appear in rows from the top of the screen and your goal is to prevent them from reaching the bottom of the screen while the reverse is true in most other games, the basic premise is the same. You want to stop the object before they can reach their destination. The difference between this game and most other online puzzle games that employ this premise is that your shooter is not fixed in one spot. Instead, Poxxle allows you to move your shooter from left to right, opening up more moves and giving you more control. You also have the option of using the 'a' and 'd' keys to move your shooter or using the arrow keys on your keyboard. You still aim your shot using your mouse and fire using the left mouse button, but the additional option of moving your shooter, makes the game a bit more difficult and definitely makes it much more unique.

Poxxle offers two modes of play for you to choose from; Classic Mode and Arcade Mode. Classic Mode challenges you too complete level after levels of puzzles that increase in difficulty as you progress in the game. Arcade Mode allows you to play continuously. Which mode you choose will depend on what kind of challenge you are looking for. Classic Mode is great if you enjoy the challenge that comes with trying to reach the next level in a game while Arcade Mode is great if you just enjoy trying to get a high score. Someone just starting out with this game who is having trouble getting the hang of the controls may want to play a few games in Arcade Mode. This gives you more of a chance to get used to how the game is played without having to worry about level goals. Someone more experiences with puzzle games like this one may prefer the challenge of Classic Mode. Which you choose is entirely up to you.

The graphics in Poxxle are among the best of any block breaking style puzzle game online. They aren't so flashy they're distracting and don't cause the game to lag, but they're not the standard blocks you get with many of the other games. The objects are colorful and have fun, interesting designs on them that will hold your attention. As you progress, new colors and designs are added so you don't have to look at the same objects level after level. These additions to the game play also increase the level of difficulty. AS more and more designs are added it becomes more difficult to make matches. If you are a fan of this style of puzzle game and are looking for a challenge, you will definitely find what you are looking for here. If you're new to this genre, you might have a bit of a hard time getting through the levels, but it never becomes so frustrating you don't want to play anymore. Overall, this is an excellent puzzle game that will keep you playing round after round and is certainly worth the time you spend playing.
